COM Hogue grew up in Farber,Mo. He served in the U. S. Air Force from Dec. 1967 until Dec. 1971. Following his military service, he was an Industrial Electrician for 30 years.

COM Hogue has been married to Carol for 49 years. They have three children and six grand-children.

His 4th great-grandfather, Henry Matthews, was a 1st Lieutenant in the Continental Troops of Maryland.
