David E. Harkey Jr. grew up in Granite City, IL and now lives at Macks Creek, MO. He enjoys the outdoors including fishing and camping.

COM Harkey is married to Cynthia (Thomas) Harkey who is a DAR member. The Harkey's have one child, Marissa. Marissa is active in the CAR (Children of the American Revolution) and the family spends much time participating in CAR events.

COM Harkey's Patriot Ancestor is Martin Harkey.
