COM Buell was the 4th President of MGC in 1988.

Harold Dean Buell, born 15 AUG 1920 was the first child of Claude Ervin Buell and Virgie (Tipton) Buell.

He died 10 SEP 1988, while in office as MGC Chapter President and is buried in the Columbia Cemetery.

He was a 1LT in the U.S. Army during World War II.

COM Buell married Mary Jane Tobin on 19 Nov 1949. She died 8 March 1973 and is buried in Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery, Boonville, MO. They were the parents of six children: Charlie, Dean, Sharley Jane, Tom, George, and Claude Buell.

In July, 1974, Harold married Martha Ann (Brinegar) Calise.She was a member of the Columbia Chapter NSDAR. Martha died in 2016.
