Marvin Shamberger, 86, of Columbia died Saturday, Jan 25,1997 at his home.
Services will be held at 2 pmm Wednesday, Jan 29, at Memorial Funeral HOme with John Yonker officiating. The family will greet friends immediately after the service.
Dr. Shamberger was born Jan 7, 1911, in Nodaway County to Frank and Hattie Fox Shamberger.
He married Marceline Cooper on Aug 17, 1937, and she survives.
He was a member of First Christian Church, the Sons of the American Revolution, A.F and A.M., Scottish Rite and Shrine and the Rotary Club.
Survivors include two sons, James Shamberger of Washington DC and Robert Shamberger of Melrose, MA, and three grandchildren.
