Robert N. Hill has an A.B. from Dartmouth College and a PhD. from Princeton University.

He worked abroad in the Middle East for 22 years in government consulting and the oil business. He started the pursuit of genealogy in 1994.

Dr. Hill has multiple ancestors that served in the Rev War. His wife Gerarda M. Willemse from Holland died in 2014.
