Compatriot Duckett is a retired Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper and is a retired member of the Missouri State Troopers Association. He has lived in Farmington Missouri most of his adult life.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1970-1974 and is a Vietnam era war veteran. He is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
He has been a Missouri Freemason since 1974 and is a Past Master of Farmington Lodge 132 and is also a Past District Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri. He is a member of the Sword of Bunker Hill, and a member of the Moolah Shrine in St. Louis and ECMO Shrine Club in Bonne Terre.
He and his wife, Marie Pyatt Duckett, have three children and two grandchildren.
Compatriot Duckett's patriot ancester is Jacob Duckett, Jr. From North Carolina.
