William F. Stone Jr is a retired Deputy Fire Chief after 31 years of service. He also worked as a consultant for 36 years in the Utilities industry, the last 23 years for the Rural Electrics.

He is an active member of three Masonic Lodges, having served as a Worshipful Master of each Lodge. Bill is a past Chairman of the Lake St Louis Fire Protection Board, the St Charles County Dispatch and Alarm Board, The Board of Trustees of the Wentzville Methodist Church. He also served on the Red Cross Bi-State Board and currently is serving as President of the Walnut Forest Subdivision.

Bill graduated from Central High School in Cape Girardeau and Central Methodist College, now University. He lettered in Football and baseball. Bill belonged to Delta Sigma Psi, now a TKE Chapter.

He met and married Janice (Hoevel) Stone in college. They have one son, Thomas and one grandson, Parker.

His SAR patriot is Thomas Puckett from Virginia who enlisted as a Private and was discharged as a Sergeant.
